Our story

Twelve makers,
one workshop

We started because the good work was leaving the country and coming back with somebody else's label on it.

The weaving is done by Sarita and Kamala, who have worked together for eleven years. The metalwork comes from a family workshop in Patan that has been hammering bowls since before any of us were born. We do not subcontract and we do not white-label.

We will not use machine-spun yarn to hit a price, and we will not tell you something is hand-made when it is assembled. If a piece is not right it does not ship, which is occasionally why something is out of stock.
